About Us
The FKS Montessori Seneca Language Nest has a mission of fostering independent, confident, and socially responsible citizens who are exposed to the traditional teachings of Gaiwi:yo:h and the traditions of the Seneca people. We are committed to fostering a child's love of learning and respect for self, others, and the environment through the methodologies of Montessori.

The students visited Sprague's Maple Farms & Restaurant in Portville, NY. This was a very fun and educational trip for the students because they were able to see the entire process of making Wahda' Oshésda' (Maple Syrup)

The children & staff celebrated the autumn season by visiting Pumpkinville in Great Valley, NY. They enjoyed the festivities, cider & donuts, and a scenic tractor ride around the pumpkin fields. Each child chose a pumpkin to paint and bring home!
